Supacal Privacy Policy
Supacal has created this privacy statement as a means to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. This document discloses our information gathering and usage practices.

Use of your information
Supacal does not sell or rent your personal identification to third parties.
We release account and other personal information only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our terms and conditions; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Supacal, our users, or others.
In addition, Supacal's computers process the information in your calendars to offer you the best possible service, including formatting and displaying the information to you and backing up your calendars' contents. Supacal.s employees will not read your private calendar information.
It is the policy of Supacal to use our members email as part of our Tip off and Reminder Service where requested and as part of customary business communications (eg welcome emails, sms block reminders, payment confirmations, etc.) In addition, Supacal may from time to time send an email to members highlighting new service features.
Further, we use email as a means of receiving feedback from our members, and we encourage you to email us with your questions or comments.
Emailing Tools
The Supacal site utilises email as a means for members to invite other people to share their calendars, invite people to join up or see our Case Studies, Take a Tour or Try a Demonstration. We do not permanently store, sell, or rent these email messages or the email addresses.
You may not use the "Share this Calendar with others " service or any other email triggering services to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate our privacy policy or Terms and Conditions.
Sharing Calendar information
A key feature of Supacal is the ability for members to choose about whether and how much of your calendar information you would like to share with others. Supacal enables you to make all or some of your calendar(s) (1) private and inaccessible by other users (2) accessible only by certain people of your choosing, or (3) accessible by the general public and included in Supacal search results.
Membership Registration
Information required to become a member of Supacal includes a nickname and password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.
Our site's registration form also asks for other contact information and limited demographic information. This information is used in the provision of our calendar service and is central to the Supacal Tip off and Reminder service that you may choose to utilise.
Updating Your Personal Information
Supacal provides you with ways in which you can alter your personal data, including changing your email address, password, phone number, etc.
Control of Your Password
You are responsible for all actions taken with your nickname, email address and password. Therefore we recommend that you do not disclose your Supacal password to any third parties.
Credit Card Security
Supacal does not store your credit card information. We use 3rd party payment gateways such as Paypal to facilitate all credit card transactions so your card information cannot be accessed by Supcal staff.
Cookies
Supacal uses cookies to a) save your nickname and session information; and, b) to personalise user experience.
Other information we collect
We use additional information to do internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve you and our community. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our site or not), what browser you are using, and your IP address.
Users who login have their IP addresses recorded. This information can be used to track users who abuse the Supacal system and will be only be provided to legal authorities in cases of suspected fraud. IP addresses can be used, in conjunction with an Internet Service Provider, to find the dial-in account of a user and, ultimately, further information to identify a user. This information is stored securely and will not be provided to other members or non-authorised parties.
If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, we may save such information.
Membership Removal
If you wish to have your registration removed from our directory for any reason, simply send us an email requesting to be removed.
Advertising and Third Party Links
Some Supacal advertisers may request information directly from users, or link to sites that do so. Supacal has no control over its advertisers' privacy policies, and encourages users to review such policies prior to submitting any personal information to them.
Supacal contains non-advertising links to a variety of third party sites to enhance the member experience. Supacal has no control of either the content or privacy policies of such sites, nor should such links be considered an endorsement of these sites except where otherwise noted.
